We are looking for a System Test Manager for the Business Center „Verification & Validation“ within Continental Engineering Services GmbH (CES) at the earliest possible date. In this position you are responsible for the entire execution of test activities on component and system level.
Your Tasks
- You define the overall project test strategy based on the Test Management process and in
alignment with the Project Manager and/or the line manager - You check the consistency between the project test strategy and the discipline test strategies
and track the commitment to the project test strategy throughout the entire project - You plan and coordinate the test environment, the required test equipment and related test
software and you are responsible for the system test specification - You are responsible for planning and conducting system tests within the project with focus
on test targets, test objects and resources and align those with the project team and the
overall project schedule - You monitor and control all test activities in the project (development, qualification,
production) at component or vehicle level - You regularly reconcile the test progress and project milestones and present the status to the
project manager and the customer - You consolidate the discipline and system test results together with the project team and
derive release and action recommendations - If necessary, you control root cause analysis together with the project leader
- You identify improvement possibilities in the test strategy and the test management process
based on the KPIs defined and identified and introduce them in consultation with project
managers and line manager
Your Profile
- You have a completed degree in electrical engineering, information technology, or the like
- You have several years of relevant professional experience in test management, testing
technology or similar and general knowledge of software, hardware, mechanics, and optics
engineering processes in the automotive environment - You have a very good knowledge of the most common test methods, test techniques, tools,
test processes, product liability and ISO 26262 and have also gained first experience in cyber
security testing - Comprehensive knowledge of written and spoken English and German round off your profile
- You are characterized by a good understanding of the needs and problems of customers and
users and the ability to analyze technical problems - You have excellent communication, moderation, planning and management skills as well as
the competence to coach people - You feel comfortable in an agile working environment and quickly work on a variety of topics
