We are looking for you to support our area Continental Engineering Services (CES) at the location Nürnberg.
Your tasks as a Software Product Owner (Software Project Manager) (m/f/divers) for the software development for next-generation cockpit domain controller.
Your Tasks
- Planning, coordination and monitoring of software development activities in close coordination with system development
- Technical management of an agile software development team
- Contact person for customers and other stakeholders on all SW topics including management
- Ensuring regular communication in the agile team and with external teams
- Ensuring a meaningful division of tasks between the application project and basic development
- Creation and maintenance of the Software Release Plan and the Software Product Backlog in cooperation with the Scrum Master, other disciplines and project managers
- Technical responsibility in the context of software change management
- Ensuring the conformity of the valid development process
- Support for the analysis of customer requirements for software
- Participation in the preparation of offers for new or to be changed software functions
Your Qualification
- Completed degree in electrical engineering, technical computer science, information technology or a comparable field of study
- Several years of professional experience in software development in the automotive environment and in SW project management and application of the corresponding agile methodology
- Deep technical knowledge of infotainment and connectivity products also a good understanding of dependencies between software, electronics and mechanics and good knowledge especially in requirement engineering and change management processes
- Broad technical skills in connectivity and/or infotainment product design
- Ability to handle large, complex System/Software Solutions
- Experience with different development processes as well as Scrum techniques
- Excellent communication skills including ability to make technical presentations in front of the OEM
- Very good written and spoken German and English
- Customer and quality orientation, structured way of working, communication and decision-making skills
- Intercultural competence and the motivation to develop a new generation of products together with the development team
