Within Continental Engineering Services GmbH (CES) we are looking for you to strengthen our Business Center Verification & Validation at the Ingolstadt site.
Your Tasks
- Plan, design, implement and if necessary, execute and document system tests at component, vehicle, and application integration level according to the project test strategy, system architecture and the “System Requirements Specification”
- New technologies and methodologies – driving changes to increase test effectiveness and/or test quality to ensure the quality of our products even with increasing complexity
- Evaluate technical risks and analyze and track defects found
- Problem analysis of base software and application features
- Local debugging support for remote experts
- Validation and demonstration of solutions on site
- Reporting to and coordination with the system test manager
Your Profile
- You have a completed degree in electrical engineering, information technology or similar
- You have several years of relevant professional experience in test engineering, bring general knowledge of software, hardware, mechanics, and optics engineering processes in the automotive environment as well as very good knowledge of common test methods, test techniques, tools, test processes, product liability and ISO 26262
- You are confident in using tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, LabView, Test Sequencer, XCP, Git, Jira, Confluence and have knowledge of scripting and programming languages such as Python, CAPL, C#, C, C++, knowledge of Linux is also desirable
- You have several years of relevant professional experience in test engineering, test engineering, bring general knowledge of software,
- You have experience with debugging tools and knowledge especially in the MultiCore/MultiController environment
- You have a good understanding of the needs and problems of customers and users and the ability to analyze technical problems
- You feel comfortable in an agile working environment and are able to quickly familiarize yourself with a wide range of topics
- Fluent written and spoken English and German complete your profile
