We are looking for you to support our area Continental Engineering Services (CES) at the location Nürnberg.
Your tasks as a (Senior) Engineer – Functional Safety Management (m/f/diverse) will focus on the following activities:
Your Tasks
- Moderate hazard and risk analyzes
- You agree with customers and suppliers on security requirements
- Support security related developments and products in the supply phase
- You are responsible for the safety plan
- Support the development and definition of safety concepts and forward functional safety requirement requests
- Coordinate and conduct security reviews
- You plan, coordinate and conduct functional safety assessments in projects
- You support development teams on issues related to the detection and verification of functional safety of products
Your Profile
- You have an academic degree in engineering studies with a focus on electronics or comparable
- You have gained initial professional experience in functional safety, complete vehicle or product development
- Very good overall understanding of the vehicle very good knowledge and understanding of the relevant standards, in particular ISO26262
- Good written and spoken language skills in German and English
- Excellent communication skills, analytical and interdisciplinary thinking
- Organizational talent, strong problem solving ability, high commitment and customer orientation
