For our CES Interior Segment Infotainment & Connectivity we are searching for an experienced Senior Engineer (m/f/diverse) for SW architecture and/or requirements with the following tasks:
Your Tasks
- Development of embedded Linux/Android based SW architectures in the connected car & infotainment area
- Define SW architecture for next-generation cockpit domain controller
- Creation of technical concepts and specifications
- Conducting code reviews for complex architectural changes
- Provide guidance on common SW paradigms and coding practices to the team and improve design quality
- Lead detailed design and implementation of core foundational services and subsystems
- Definition of SW specification, collaboration on logistic concepts
- Specification of SW integration and testing of SW components
- Definition of the requirements for cross-sectional use of HW / SW units
- Support in the preparation of offers (technical input, cost and time planning, risk assessment)
- Close coordination / communication with the customer and CES teams
- Close cooperation with security experts and project managers
- Control and ensure the profitability of the projects
Your Profile
- Academic degree in computer science, electrical engineering or comparable
- Several years of professional experience as an embedded SW developer (m/f/diverse)
- Experience in SW architecture design and delivery
- Comprehensive knowledge of architectural principles and various SW architectures
- In-depth experience building complex, embedded software, middleware, and OS (RTOS, Linux/Android/QNX)
- Extensive knowledge of C and C++
- Hands-on experience building and launching complex multi-OS systems in mass production products
- Broad range of experience on audio/video, networking, cameras, sensors, graphics and/or low-level programming
- Familiar with architecting and designing tools, and self-motivated for documentation
- Extensive knowledge of software integration and software testing
- Knowledge of SCRUM / agile development processes
- Domain expertise in infotainment and/or connected car is strongly desired
- Good written and spoken language skills in German and English
- Great communication skills, and able to communicate efficiently at different levels to different audience
