We are looking for a Project Manager (m/f/diverse) for our Business Segment Driver Assistance and Autonomous Driving (DAAD) in the Business Center System at the earliest possible date.

Your Tasks

  • Management of projects in the field of driver assistance systems and autonomous driving from acquisition to project completion over the entire “Product Life Cycle” (PLC)
  • Definition of objectives, schedules and milestones in coordination with the customer, as well as tracking them and ensuring compliance
  • Technical management of the international project team
  • Support and motivation of team members
  • Definition, distribution and delegation of work packages within the team according to the roles and skills of the project members
  • Regular report of the project status to the customer and to the internal management of the business center
  • Responsibility for the development and, if necessary, industrialization of the product in compliance with customer requirements, internal processes, legal requirements and state of the art
  • Timely recognition of critical situations in the project
  • Define and take appropriate countermeasures in coordination with management
  • Responsibility for the commercial success of the project
  • Recognition and negotiation of “change requests” with the customer

Your Profile

  • Academic degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in the field of project management
  • Disciplinary or professional leadership experience
  • Good automotive industry knowledge is required
  • Good understanding of driver assistance systems and overall vehicle functions is required
  • Very good German and English skills in spoken and written
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, strong customer orientation as well as the ability to motivate and professionally lead employees
  • Initiative, analytical skills and willingness to learn
  • Willingness to travel
