In the Driveline & Electrification segment within Continental Engineering Services (CES), we are looking for a Powertrain Systems Architect (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

Your Tasks

In this position, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Analysis of customer requirements at vehicle/powertrain level considering functionality, quality, reliability/service life, functional safety (ISO 26262) and cyber security
  • Derivation and detailing of system and functional requirements
  • Conception and development of E/E architectures as well as breaking down of system requirements and software functions to individual components/ECUs
  • Embedding the responsible architecture in the overall vehicle architecture
  • Professional coordination of project tasks and the development team
  • Technical responsibility for the development and integration of the overall system
  • Support during commissioning and release of the system

 

Your Qualifications

Ideally, you have the following experience and skills:

  • Completed university studies in the field of automotive engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in the automotive environment, especially in the field of electric and hybrid vehicles and their software
  • High understanding of E/E architectures, features, and functions with a focus on the drive
  • Knowledge of the interaction of ECUs in vehicles
  • Good German and English skills in spoken and written
  • Quick comprehension and problem-solving skills
  • Structured, independent, and goal-oriented way of working
  • Strong communication skills with customer orientation and team spirit
  • Enjoy new topics and working in an international customer and colleague environment
